The Alabama Barn Quilt Trail

Discover the heritage, connection, and stories of Alabama.

Explore the Alabama Barn Quilt Trail—a journey through painted stories, local pride, and timeless artistry woven into the backroads and barns of Alabama.

Too often, Alabama’s rural stories are hidden in plain sight—left off maps, overlooked by visitors, and forgotten in the fast pace of modern life. The Alabama Barn Quilt Trail brings these stories to life.

Through artful, handcrafted quilt blocks on barns and buildings across the state, we connect communities, celebrate heritage, and invite discovery. Designed to inspire discovery and connection, each stop on the Trail represents a rural story, connection, family, or community that is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Alabama's heritage.

Our brandmark features the historic Alabama Star, unifying our Trail with a historic block rooted right here in Alabama,
